Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid, or HA, is an ingredient commonly used in skin care products. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in the skin and its function is to attach water molecules to itself and thereby maintain the skin's moisture balance. The hyaluronic found in the products works in the same way; it binds water molecules to itself and helps to restore the moisture that the skin itself may have lost. This happens not only with the environment, but also with aging.
