Hwarang' Bellflower Moisturizing Barrier Cream is a deeply nourishing moisturizer with a perfect balance of hydration and glow. Packed with powerful ingredients to protect and strengthen your skin barrier, including ceramide NP, panthenol, ectoine and PGA (Poly-Glutamic Acid), the cream works especially well for dry, normal and sensitive skin.

More than fifty percent of the skin barrier consists of ceramides, and the quantity and quality of these natural ceramides can diminish due to harsh environmental conditions. This loss can be countered with ceramide-based skincare to restore the skin barrier, and ceramides works exceptionally well with other restoring and hydrating ingredients like glycerin, panthenol, ectoine, polyglutamic acid, squalane, and niacinamide. (This moisturizer contains all of them!)

Bellflower Moisturizing Barrier Cream contains 1% panthenol, or provitamin B5, that attracts and retains moisture on the skin's surface, while also soothing irritated and damaged skin. With its hydrating and soothing effects, regular use can improve skin texture and elasticity.

Poly-Glutamic Acid (PGA) is a peptide found in naturally fermented soybean foods. It is an excellent humectant, capable of retaining up to 5000 times its weight in water. Its hydrating effect helps maintain the skin's moisture balance, thereby strengthening the skin barrier.

Ectoine is an amino acid produced naturally by microorganisms to protect cells in extreme environments such as deserts, salt lakes, and hot springs. Its strong water-binding properties are useful in hydrating the skin, and it also has an anti-inflammatory and soothing effect, making it ideal for sensitive and irritated skin.

Bellflower Moisturizing Barrier Cream creates a calming moisture barrier on the skin after application and helps lock moisture into the skin with the help of the the powerful active ingredients.

• Moisturizer is an important final step in skin hydration. Apply after other skincare products, in the mornings before sunscreen. Always test new products on a small area of skin to ensure their suitability for your skin, especially if your skin is sensitive. Apply a small amount, for example on the neck, and wait 24-48 hours to detect any possible skin reactions.

If skin irritation such as redness, swelling, or itching occurs after use or exposure to sunlight, discontinue use and consult a doctor if necessary. Do not use on broken skin. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight. Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse thoroughly with water if the product gets into the eyes.

Ceramides occur naturally in the skin, but their amount decreases with age. Skin care products containing ceramides help supplement the skin's ceramide deficiency, so that the skin remains better moisturized, firm and plump. We recommend adding ceramides to your skin care routine from the age of 30-40 at the latest. Ceramides should be combined with products containing, for example, amino acids, glycerin, antioxidants, retinol, niacinamide or peptides.
