VT Cosmetics Cica Cream is a balancing and soothing lightweight gel moisturizer for all skin types, especially for dehydrated and stressed combination skin that often suffers from skin irritation - this gel-like face cream fills the skin with hydration, feeling fresh and lightweight without an oily feeling.

The gel cream uses the CICALIO™ compound (Centella Asiatica Extract, Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid, Madecassoside, Madecassic Acid + Green Propolis Extract) containing Centella Asiatica extract and antibacterial propolis extract to alleviate skin irritation and redness as well as to promote softness, brightness and a brighter complexion.
The face cream is enriched with moisturizing hyaluronic acid, beta-glucan and ceramides, which together help create a long-lasting moisture film on the skin while strengthening the skin barrier and promoting more effective absorption of moisturizing ingredients.

• Moisturizer is an important final step in skin hydration. Apply after other skincare products, in the mornings before sunscreen. Always test new products on a small area of skin to ensure their suitability for your skin, especially if your skin is sensitive. Apply a small amount, for example on the neck, and wait 24-48 hours to detect any possible skin reactions.

If skin irritation such as redness, swelling, or itching occurs after use or exposure to sunlight, discontinue use and consult a doctor if necessary. Do not use on broken skin. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight. Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse thoroughly with water if the product gets into the eyes.

Centella's antioxidants calm the irritated by relieving inflammation and reducing redness. It also improves and regenerates the skin and supports collagen production. In addition, centella brightens and evens out the skin tone, helps the skin retain moisture and reduces the visibility of scars.

Centella can have many different names depending on which part of the plant has been used, or what kind of extracts and oils have been made from it; eg Centella Asiatica Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract and Centella Asiatica Root Extract. In many cultures, including Korea, centella is also known as Tiger grass or Tiger herb. The name comes from the legend that wounded tigers would seek out wild centella and rub themselves on the plant's leaves to heal.
